GRANT FUNDING

We launched our initial grant program in 2025 and ended up supporting 28 artists while learning a ton. The world of music is changing rapidly and we are we are worried about how that is impacting the viability of playing live. A world without live music is not one we care to see, so we are excited to connect and collaborate with you to hopefully play with the model and make it work better for everyone involved.

Applications are now open for our 2026 grants. We run a rolling evaluation process throughout the year, and will only close the link below when our bank account hits $0 (which is hopefully never).

If you or other artists you know are interested in learning more, need some help to get gigging, or just want to have a chat about the state of music, we look forward to hearing from you. BOB IS…

All of us! Well, the story is that a few of us went to a gig, and while bobbing our heads to the music this idea arrived. At its simplest, we are a group of friends who just love music and have spent a good amount of our time at gigs and working in/around the music world. We have all hosted artists and know how hard it can be to make the whole touring thing work, so we figured it was time to formalize our efforts and act as a catalyst to get others to lend a helping hand.

To us, there is nothing better than the magic of a gig when all the elements fall into place, and we are committed to helping in whatever way makes a difference. For now, that is collectively acting as Bob and administering tour accommodation grants. In the future, the sky is the limit.
